VILLA AMPARO GARDEN BEACH RESORT

Escaping from the bustling city might be struggling for some for it requires time and effort to decide on what and where to go. Just recently, we went to Villa Amparo Garden Beach Resort for day tour, located at Sitio Dasag, IGACOS, 11km away from Babak wharf. The place itself was beautiful and was a perfect spot for unwinding and chilling out. Upon entering the area, there were staffs that will accommodate you and your needs. They'll first ask you on how many are you and where will you want to spend the day at. You have these choices that for some reason, we don't like. When you want to spend your day on the beach, you are going to pay an amount of 150php/head, while if you want it to be in the pool area, you are going to pay 200php/head. You will also have this all access for 300php/head (beach and pool).

(Day tour facilities, rental, rates, and amenities)

On their reception area, you will be ask to pay for the corkage on your foods. What just we don't like was that the corkage will be payed 60php/head which was a little bit pricey for us since we were big in numbers and another 40php/bottle when you bring with you your soft drinks. Other than that, the resort was stunning and well-favored. The sea were crystal clear and has a white-fined sand that you'll enjoy for the rest of the day.

Villa Carmelita Inland Resort

Releasing all the stress in life and swim like there's no tomorrow! hahaha! After a long summer class, me and my friends decided to take some rest. And rest to us means, swiiiiiim all day!

We found a place that we think might help our pool-thirsts souls haha! Located at Toril, Davao City, Villa Carmelita Inland Resort offers an affordable entrance fee of 150php/pax inclusive of tables and chairs and the pool. No corkage on food but there was on drinks at 20php/bottle.

Kid's pool were separated from the adult's pool. What I like most on this resort is that the lifeguard on duty were literally on duty because he's so strict of all the guests like no sliding with your head first, don't let small children swim by themselves or touch the pool by themselves and it's important because we don't know when and where will the accidents hit us. So better be strict than have accidents, right? And all of their staffs were so approachable from the guard to their lifeguards and even to their staffs in the canteen. I'll definitely recommend this place to those people who wants to enjoy and relax from their hectic schedules and summer classes and to those who wants to have fun under the sun without going onto places that are far from the City.

Cavanico il Mare Beach Resort

Cavanico iL Mare Beach Resort(formerly Pacific Heights Resort) can be found along the beaches in the island of samal. The resort will take you more or less 30 minutes from Babak wharf if you have your own car. But if you haven't, just rent a tricycle that can be found there and tell them that you will be going to Cavanico iL Mare beach resort. Haggle all you want because the fare will be a little bit pricey especially when you are alone or pair haha. A lot better when you were on a group :)

The entrance fee of the resort was 250 pesos/pax inclusive of the tables and chairs that were there and also the pool. There were also some corkage on the food that we brought there. But the staff said that if the guests consisting 5 persons, there will be no corkage on the food. It will be only apply when there were 6 and above persons in a group.

Their shoreline also looks amazing because unlike some of the beaches that have rocky-like sand, theirs were so fine and white.

There were also some portion of the resort which was not yet done and under maintenance because according to the waiter that we spoke to, the owner of the resort wants to make some level up on the place and wants to make it more beautiful.

Have a great day ahead!

Boracay Island, Philippines

Sunset in Boracay

One of the famous island in the Philippines because of its powderized white sand beach, Boracay Island, should be one of your to-go lists. Many tourists were attracted to this island mostly, Koreans, Indians, and Americans. As a Filipino, you will feel the pride that the place has. You'll be amaze on how famous this island was to some foreign countries. We traveled from Davao City via Cebu Pacific Airplane, Davao-IloIlo-Davao. As we reached Ilo-Ilo, the van that we've reserved were already there waited for us. For your convenient upon reaching the place, make some reservation of the van  first before you travel. We traveled 5 hours going to Caticlan Jetty Port Terminal. When we reached there, we made some transactions on the windows for the tickets before we entered.

When we reached Aklan, where Boracay Island lies, we rode a tricycle and told the driver to dropped us at Station 2 of the island. Btw, Boracay island has 3 stations. Station 1, station 2, and station 3. If you want to just relax and unwind without the noises of the crowd, choose station 1. If you want to chill at night by listening to music or watch a firedance or want to have some massage with the crowd, choose station 2. The place that we've reserved and stayed there lies on station 2, the boarding house boracay. There were so many hotels there so don't worry if you didn't make some reservations. The next day and the other days we have our activities. We've done helmet diving, parasailing, flying fish, cliff diving, skycycle, go kart and went to 3D Art Museum. I didn't try some of the activities because of fear HAHAHA!
